Nightlife in Dubai

Dubai is a happening city and the nightlife in Dubai reflects the spirits of the city. A city visited by people from all over the world, Dubai has a wide array of nightclubs, bars and discotheques to cater to the needs of its tourists. Though the nightclubs in Dubai are open on almost all days of the week, yet Mondays are an unofficial off day. While visiting Dubai try to stay away from the nightclubs on Mondays as most of them remain inactive.

You should keep in mind that inspite of the hot climate, you will not be allowed to enter a nightclub of Dubai wearing flip flops or baseball caps.

What may seem to be appropriate attire in the hot climate outside would hardly be regarded as a proper dress to enter the nightclubs. Like in nightclubs in other cities world over, the bouncer decides on the entrance of guests. It will be better for you to get acquainted with the rules and regulations of nightclubs before entering one.Alcohol is not served in every nightclub of Dubai. So, if drinking is your priority, you need to clarify whether the nightclub you have chosen, serves alcohol. Otherwise you can get alcoholic beverages in the bars of most of the hotels. While ordering your peg remember that, in Dubai, anything the goes against the Muslim law has a 30% tax levied on it. So even a peg of your favorite drink could cost you dearly!
